Job Description

What you’ll do

Seeking support and reablement care staff in or around Dover area to support an adult male in the community with an acquired spinal injury.

The client is very independent however he seeks someone who can support him to continue to live a fully functioning life. You will be prepared to assist with some personal care as needed( catheter care is required), assistance to mobilise as he uses a wheelchair.

Qualifications

What you’ll need

No care experience required to work with a young male as his personal assistant. The right candidate needs to be a driver( manual) to support to drive the clients vehicle if needed. The client has got a catheter but training will be given.

Your role will be to engage with him as his companion, attending appointments, activities in and around the community and other activities as needed.

You will be energetic ideally with an interest in outdoor activities, going to pubs, attending the gym, fishing and boating, gardening, off road driving and motor bikes/ cars.

This is  a great opportunity for someone who wants to get into the care/social care  field with no experience.
