Discover CCH

At CCH Group, we’re more than a care provider – we’re a passionate community dedicated to driving the sector to new heights with a history of doing so. Founded in 2009, we’ve grown into the nation’s largest care company, with over 260 locations and 14,000 care professionals delivering 1.5 million hours of care each month across the UK.

Job Description

Location: Aldridge, Walsall
Pay: £13.25 per hour days and £13.75 per hour nights
Shifts: Days, 9am to 9pm, and/or nights, 9pm to 9am, Monday to Sunday
Driver required: Full driving licence essential. Your own car is not essential, as you can drive the client’s vehicle, but you must be able to travel reliably to and from his home.

We are CCH. With 14,000 colleagues across 32 care companies, we have one purpose: to make sure no one in need of care is ever forgotten or left behind. We’re not only changing lives, we’re transforming the care sector. Our people-first approach puts care professionals at the centre of everything we do. Our goal is simple: to be the best place to work in care.

What makes CCH a great place to work? The results speak for themselves:

  • 5,243 care professionals have referred a friend to join our company.

  • 135 internal promotions were earned in just 12 months.

  • Every Operational Director began their career as a care professional.

At TCC, part of CCH, we live by our values of Community, Courage and Heart, and we’re looking for like-minded people to join our Complex Care team in Aldridge.

The Role: Join a Paralympian’s Home Support Team

We’re looking for compassionate, reliable and motivated male Care Assistants to support a man living with a spinal cord injury, a Paralympic shooter who competes internationally.

You’ll join his home support team, helping him with daily life and maintaining his independence while he is at home.

A working pattern with flexibility

Day shifts, night shifts or a combination of both are available. We can discuss the hours you’re able to offer, with greater availability and the flexibility to pick up shifts at short notice particularly welcome.

The client is away for around half of most months. Wherever possible, care hours are concentrated into the periods when he is home, offering the potential for significant time off during the rest of the month.

What you’ll be doing

  • Providing personal care and daily living support.

  • Carrying out clinical tasks, with full training provided.

  • Supporting his routines and independence at home.

  • Driving his vehicle when required.

  • Working closely with his family and wider multidisciplinary team.

You’ll provide support in the client’s annex accommodation, with family and two friendly cats nearby.
