Job Description

Complex Care Assistant: Role & Responsibilities

We are seeking a patient, compassionate, and reliable individual to provide overnight support for a lady with complex care needs in her family home.

This role involves offering attentive and respectful care to ensure the client’s comfort, safety, and wellbeing throughout the night. Duties will include personal care, food preparation, and medication administration and support attending social activities and appointments. 

The client lives with a supportive and welcoming family in a pet-free home and has a creative personality. She enjoys watching films, arts and crafts, and hypnotherapy, and values calm, reassuring support from her care team.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is genuinely caring, attentive to detail, and committed to providing high-quality, person-centered care in a home-based setting.

Experience in complex care is desirable, but a kind, patient approach and a willingness to learn are essential.

Qualifications

Complex Care Assistant Job: Skills & Requirements

Previous experience in a complex care assistant role is not essential, but experience in the following would be extremely advantageous:

• PEG feeding.
• Ventilation Support (C-Pap)
• Catheter Care
• Bowel Managment
• Medication Administration
• Moving & Handling Equipment.
• Challenging Behaviour
