Location: Gravesend

Pay Rate: £13 per hour (Weekdays)

                  £14 per hour (Weekends)

                  £12.21 per hour (Nights)

Shifts Available: Monday - Sunday

                             Days - 8am - 10 pm (2:1)

                             Nights - 10pm - 8am (1:1)

Access to a vehicle is preferred due to the geographical location of the role.

Job Description


What you’ll do

This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your current skill base and join us as a Complex Care Assistant. You will have full training and clinical support to develop and enhance skills in various complex areas We care for and support people of all ages, in the community, and in their homes, with rehabilitation, learning disabilities, and mental health. You may be supporting people to go to work/ college, with personal tasks, household jobs, taking part in hobbies, accompanying them on day trips or even planning a holiday. . Every day will be different. And you’ll never know what challenges you’re about to face next. One thing you can be sure of though, is that you’ll be making your clients’ days brighter, whilst developing your skills and knowledge.

The client is a young gentlemen in his late twenties who suffers with epilepsy and non-verbal autism. On your day-to-day you will be required to follow the client's regimented routine, providing personal care; food preparation as well as offering emotional support and social interaction. 

Qualifications


What you'll need

Experience with challenging behaviours and rescue medication for epilepsy would be extremely advantageous. However, all staff will receive de-escalation training prior to starting the role.
