What you’ll do
This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your current skill base and join us as a Complex Care Assistant and make a real difference to our client.
Working in the family home of our client you will make a real difference in providing care and support in this varied role. With this role you will be supporting our client to access the community and assisting him in leading a fulfilled life. He enjoys days out such as bowling, visiting coffee shops and going for walks. He also loves music and watching marvel movies.
We are looking for a care professional who brings energy, empathy and enthusiasm to every shift. You will be someone who values building strong relationships and providing high quality and attentive care. The successful candidate will be someone who is responsive, alert, pro-active, reassuring and has a calm approach.
The main duties of the role will be providing ventilator management, administering medication via nasogastric tube, personal care, manual handling and seizure management. In addition to this, supporting him with social events - he loves socialising and going out and about.
You will have full training and clinical support to develop and improve skills in various complex areas.
What you’ll need
Previous Complex Care experience is not required but it will be beneficial to have experience in ventilation for this role. You will have full nurse-led training and clinical support to develop and improve skills in various areas.
