Shifts Available: Waking night shifts – 22:00 – 8:00 | 2 shifts per week | Shifts every other weekend

Job Description

What you’ll do

With this role you will be supporting a young child that has a tracheostomy and a PEG feed. Whilst we can provide training we are looking for someone that has experience with tracheostomy and PEG feed management and experience caring for children.

This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your current skill base and join us as a Complex Care Assistant.

You will have full training and clinical support to develop and enhance skills in various complex areas such as tracheotomy, ventilation, seizure management, and stoma care plus so much more!

We care for and support people of all ages, in the community, and in their homes, with Spinal Cord injury, Muscular dystrophy, acquired brain injuries and many other complex needs. Every day will be different. And you’ll never know what challenges you’re about to face next. One thing you can be sure of though, is that you’ll be making your clients’ days brighter, whilst developing your skills and knowledge.

What you’ll need

You will have experience caring for children with tracheostomy and PEG feed. This role is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference to this family by offering care and support to their child.

You’ll receive full training and ongoing clinical support to develop in key areas such as tracheostomy care, ventilation, seizure management, and stoma care - and much more.
