Shifts Available: 1 Night A Week - 10pm - 8am

What you’ll do

We’re looking for a caring, reliable, and flexible person to join a friendly team supporting a young gentlemen with an acquired brain injury. 

The client lives with his Mum and Dad, who are very involved in the care provided for him. We are looking for a carer one night a week to support an existing well established team so to give respite to his parents. 

On duty, you will be supporting with over night care, monitoring his needs; for example managing his PEG feed, administering medication when required and assisting with moving and handling equipment during his morning routine. 

Qualifications


What you’ll need

You’ll need to be caring and compassionate, and a good listener with strong communication skills. A background in the care in the sector, in particular the following would be extremely advantageous but not essential:

  • PEG Feeding
  • Medication Administration
  • Moving & Handling Equipment
  • Good Communication Skills
