Job Description

Working in the family home of a young person on a 1:1 basis you will make a real difference in providing care and support to this family by ensuring the safety and comfort of their child.

This is a very important and rewarding role that requires a confident, caring and friendly care professional. The family have pet dog so animal lovers are welcome to apply.

The main duties of the role will be providing personal care, bowel management, catheter care, driving the client to appointments. Our client has a spinal cord injury and is a wheelchair user, they love reading and watching films and listening to music. With this role you we will be supporting them to do the things they enjoy. 

We are looking for a care professional who brings energy, empathy and enthusiasm to every shift. You will be someone who values building strong relationships and providing high quality and attentive care.

Qualifications

You don’t need complex care experience to apply for this role as this is a fantastic opportunity to grow your skills and become part of a team that makes a real difference. You’ll receive full nurse led training and ongoing clinical support to develop skills in various areas.

The successful candidate with be a driver with access to a car.
