Job Description

What You’ll Do

We are looking for a passionate and proactive Care Worker to support a delightful young woman in her beautifully adapted bungalow in Cheshire. Approaching her 30s, she is a gentle, joyful individual with a great love for sensory experiences and community engagement.

She has profound and multiple learning disabilities, complex epilepsy, is non-verbal, and uses a wheelchair. Her life is filled with meaningful, joyful routines, and you’ll help her continue to live fully, safely, and with dignity.

Her weekly schedule includes:

  • Rebound therapy
  • Zoo visits and trips to local parks
  • Sensory activities like massage, music therapy, foot spas, and time in the garden

At home, she thrives in a calm, supportive environment and enjoys discovering new experiences that bring joy and stimulation.

What You’ll Need

We’re seeking someone who is:

  • Caring, patient, and conscientious
  • Reliable and willing to work 12-hour shifts, including nights
  • Comfortable with personal care and household tasks
  • Open to learning and able to follow a well-established care plan

Experience with similar complex needs or a background in person-centred care is a plus-but not essential. We provide comprehensive training and ongoing supervision to ensure you feel confident and capable in your role.

You’ll work closely with a small, creative team and the client’s family to provide a bespoke, joyful, and supportive care experience. Enthusiasm for encouraging new activities and building trusting, meaningful relationships is key.
