Job Description

What you’ll do

Be a part of a special care team delivering care to our client who is a delightful child who has Lennox-Gastaut syndrome. We are looking for a patient carer with excellent observational skills to join our existing team.

You will deliver care in line with the care plan which includes peg feeds, seizure management, dystonia management, ventilation support, chest physio, suctioning and medication administration.

You will be supported by Advantage Healthcare London branch and invited to attend regular supervisions and team meetings. A registered nurse will ensure you are competent in our client’s care needs and support with any clinical concerns and queries you may have.

What you’ll need

The following is essential to be eligible for an interview: - 

• Experience working in a complex care setting
• Experience with PEG feeding.
• Experience of seizure management.
• Experience with suctioning.
• Experience of ventilation equipment.
