Job Description

What you'll do

This is an exciting opportunity to join our dedicated team as a Complex Care Assistant, supporting a lovely 11 year old boy who has cerebral palsy in the comfort of his own home.  He lives with both mum and dad, also an older brother and a family dog which is a frindly and lovable cockapoo.  In this rewarding role, you will deliver all aspects of person-centred care tailored to this happy little boys needs, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to promote well-being and positive health outcomes. This little boy is described as a “little tinker” by his family, and has an adorable/funny/lovable personality.

The shift will be based at the home on a Saturday or Sunday which is flexible.  The shifts are for 6 hours and you would be supporting this little boy along with a collegue to ensure safe moving and positioning. He has his own vehicle for staff to drive to take him out and about in the community.  You must have a full clean UK driving licence and must also be older than 21 years of age as this is a legal requirement to safely drive the vehicle.
