Job Description

What you'll do

We are looking for a compassionate and attentive carer to support a 5-month-old baby who is on TPN.

This is an overnight observational role, where your main responsibility will be to ensure the baby is safe, comfortable, and settled throughout the night.

You will monitor the TPN pump visually (without handling or adjusting it), immediately alert parents if the pump alarms, and record clear and accurate observations in the care notes.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to remain alert during quiet night hours, and show sensitivity and professionalism when working closely with the family in their home.

Qualifications

A background in care is essential for this role with good and effective communication skills.

Experience in paediatrics and/or knowledge of TPN and tracheostomy management would be extremely advantageous.
