Your primary focus will be on upholding service quality, supporting your team, and ensuring that care provision consistently meets the highest standards.

Job Description


What you’ll do

  • As a Hub Field Care Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring service quality, compliance, and operational efficiency. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Managing Field Care Supervisors – Lead and support a team of Field Care Supervisors, ensuring all field-based activities meet high standards of compliance and quality.
  • New Referrals & Service Growth – Work closely with Intake Coordinators to manage new referrals efficiently, ensuring smooth transitions from initial referral to ongoing care.
  • Ensuring Compliance & Quality – Oversee Care Plans, Risk Assessments, and Reablement surveys, ensuring all documentation meets company and regulatory standards. Conduct field-based competency checks, spot checks, and supervisions to maintain care quality.
  • Staff Support & Development – Provide regular 1:1 meetings, supervisions, and appraisals, ensuring team members are well-supported and developed. Manage performance, absence, and annual leave to maintain operational effectiveness.
  • Quality Assurance & Reporting – Monitor service quality through audits and feedback, ensuring adherence to CQC standards. Provide reports to senior managers and assist in regulatory inspections.
  • This role is essential in ensuring that care services are delivered effectively, compliance is maintained, and teams are fully supported to provide the highest standards of care.

Qualifications


What You’ll Bring: 

  • Proven Leadership – Experience in a managerial role within healthcare or homecare, with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.

  • Compliance & Quality Focus – Strong knowledge of Care Plans, Risk Assessments, and Reablement, ensuring compliance with industry regulations. Experience in conducting competency checks, supervisions, and quality audits.

  • Strong Communication Skills – Ability to engage with staff at all levels, providing clear direction, support, and feedback both verbally and in writing.

  • Problem-Solving & Decision-Making – Confident in making quick and effective decisions under pressure, resolving challenges with a proactive approach.

  • Organisational Excellence – Exceptional time management and organisational skills, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.

Preferred Experience & Qualifications:

  • Relevant qualification in health, social care, or management (e.g., NVQ, Diploma in Health and Social Care).
  • Experience managing field-based teams and ensuring operational effectiveness.
  • Knowledge of CCH standards and care industry regulations.
