Job Description

Complex Care Assistant: Role & Responsibilities

Join us as a Complex Care Assistant and expand your skills with full training and clinical support in areas such as tracheostomy, PEG feeding, catheter care, moving and handling equipment and medication administration. You’ll be supporting a young child overnight with a multitude of complex care needs inclusive of autism, LD & ADHD.

The main responsibilities for this position would be to monitor the child's tracheostomy and peg feed and to provide medication.

Qualifications

Complex Care Assistant Job: Skills & Requirements

Previous experience in a complex care assistant role is not essential, but experience in the following would be extremely advantageous:

• Tracheostomy
• PEG feeding
• Catheter Care
• Medication Administration
• Moving & Handling Equipment.
• Challenging Behaviours (Autism & LD)
